WHAT: Media interested in covering Minimal Effort: New Year's Eve 2019 can now apply for media credentials. Widely recognized for consistently bringing top-shelf house and techno programming to unique LA venues, Minimal Effort is set to make their return to the Los Angeles underground scene on December 31 to celebrate the arrival of 2020 in style, soundtracked by the electronic music industry’s elite. 

Minimal Effort’s New Year’s Eve lineup will feature performances from French house purveyor Sirus Hood, lo-fi master Ross From Friends, Grammy Award-winning producer Sharam, experimental stylings of Madeaux, West Coast house originator Doc Martin, techno selector Lee K, house music “warrior” option4, and of course the glue of the forward-thinking Minimal Effort curation Human Resources. Fans can also anticipate a number of epic B2B sets from Desert Heart champions Lubelski and RYBO, to tech-house phenoms Detlef and Latmun, and a third from famed Dutch techno export Bart Skils and his special guest, Layton Giordani. 

Following their Halloween event in October, Minimal Effort New Years Eve will provide their fans with another unrivaled night of the best underground house and techno music curation. Located on Broadway in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, the LA Theatre is a testament to Minimal Effort’s ability to finding the most unique venues for their bi-annual events. With its French Baroque-inspired décor, cove-lit murals, and ornate gilded interior the space is a glamorous reminder of Hollywood’s golden-age, and perfect for a NYE celebration.
